Companies and organizations interested in actively contributing to the protection and promotion of bees and other pollinating insects in the city of Athens, can participate in this program. Companies participating in our CSR program adopt a number of hives per year and we provide them with:
- holistic management of the project in order to benefit the company, the bees and other insects, the flora of the area and the local community
- comprehensive supervision and care of bees with an emphasis on having happy and healthy bees
- 2 activities/events with the company's employees in order to bring them closer to the world of honeybees
- honey to be produced from their apiaries for their employees, customers or partners
- communication management of the project on social media, to increase the impact of our common actions
- annual project report
Companies can also:
- host the beehives in their premises if they are suitable
- host an “insect hotel” to provide nesting sites for other pollinating insects
- receive suggestions for planting beekeeping plants and shaping their space, to make it more attractive to pollinating insects
- monitor the annual progress of the hives through specialized equipment
- participate voluntarily in our beekeeping work and our actions for pollinators
- choose to donate honey to another charitable organization of their choice
